I’ve reinstalled Team Fortress 2 and I’ve been playing it on and off, mostly on the Malaysian Bolehnet server and some Singaporean servers. It’s especially funny to play on the Malaysian servers and hear people trash talk while joking about Anwar being online playing.
The above picture appears to be a TF2 engineer sentry made entirely out of Lego. I shamelessly stole it from the Lowyat forums.
I’d have time to do that, but I would have to quit dropping 😀
So cool. 😉 I love Lego. 😉
Heh, awesome piece of art there. 🙂
The local Team Fortress 2 servers are nice populated at most times aye?
Actually the only constantly available local TF2 server that I know of is the free Bolehnet one, and it’s usually full. The Singaporean servers on the hand are either completely full or completely empty of players, so it’s kind of pain to actually find a playable server with reasonable ping. Naturally, with so few servers available, you don’t really get to pick what map to play on, so you just go with whatever is on the current rotation.
I finally bought The Orange Box, yesterday! 😀
(I think I finally will have more time for myself now!)
Add me to your friends list yo! Use this email woot!
I’m not playing TF2 any more, I’m sorry to say. I’ve uninstalled it from my system. 🙁
One reason I was enthusiastic about trying it was because while I’ve been working in the Solomon Islands, I never had an Internet connection fast enough and stable enough to play online shooters, so I missed out on things like Counterstrike, Unreal Tournament and the Battlefield series. But after trying out TF2 for a bit, I suppose multiplayer shooters aren’t really for me anyway. I kinda suck at them, and besides, being good at them means having to memorize the same maps and play them over and over again. I guess I’m sticking to the single player shooters from now on.
Duh!
Okay, what about zombie shooters like Left 4 Dead? 😀
There is co-op mode as well as versus mode.
4 players must work together and blast through waves of zombie in order to escape the infected area.
Versus pits 4 human survivors players against 4 infected players.
Survivors must, well, survive and escape. :p
Infected must kill them all and make sure they don’t escape. 😀
I admit to being somewhat intrigued by Left 4 Dead, but I doubt it will offer me enough hours of gameplay to justify the purchase price because I don’t think I’ll spend that much time doing multiplayer. In any case, I already have Mercenaries 2 still to play, have already ordered Fallout 3 (not yet delivered) and I’m sure to buy Grand Theft Auto 4 when the PC version comes out in December.
In addition, I have to find time to play the Fall from Heaven 2 mod for Civilization 4. Too many games at the moment!
